Dewey's Read-a-Thon...Hour 5

Well it's hour 5 and I finished my first book of the read a thon!!! Yes, it was a re-read of one of my fave books A Walk to Remember. And I'm super surprised that I didn't cry (first time ever and I have read this book multiple, multiple times since I was a sophomore in high school...nine years ago...wow!)

I also want to answer this hour's question about changing positions during the read-a-thon. So far, I sit somewhere different every hour. The first hour I stayed in my chair that is stationed at my computer. The second hour, I laid on my bed. Third hour, I sat in my comfy reading chair. And the fourth and fifth hour, I moved back to my bed. Here are some pictures of my reading areas...

Anyways...here's my summary for the read-a-thon...

  1. I read A Walk To Remember a few years ago and found it very enjoyable. Keep up the good work!

  2. Ok, first of all, I love your blog, its so pretty and I love the colors! Second, your title is great and I feel the same way. I actually started a section in my blogs called Tea Time where I review tea (which I will be picking up again after the readathon) and thirdly, I love a walk to remember. I used to have the movie also but it mysteriously disappeared my freshman year of college.

You're doing great! *Cheer Cheer Cheer*

  5. What lovely reading areas!

    A limerick for inspiration:

I hope that your day's going well,
That the books you are reading are swell.
    A day for just reading
    (and mild competing)
Will do us all good, I can tell!

    Have fun!!

  6. I only say the movie, but I remember that that made me cry badly! Rereading a favourite is such a good idea for the readathon! I hope you're still doing well!
