Month End Author Spotlight...Maureen Johnson

Ooops, this is way late. Sorry about that book friends : /
It has been another crazy few weeks or shall I say month. But I'm trying to get back on track and I definitely wanted to finalize my Maureen Johnson month. So here it is...

Just a little bio...
Maureen Johnson was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is an only child, so she mentions that she knows how to play Candyland by herself. She went to an all-girls Catholic high school (although, she's not Catholic) and met many of her closest friends there. Maureen went off and graduated from the University of Delaware with a writing major. After this, she had a few jobs, but eventually moved to New York to study theatrical dramaturgy at the Columbia University School of the Arts. She had other jobs during and after school. But now she is a writer, with many books out. ***want more info...check out her website***M.J.'s

Totally struggling...

Hello everyone,

I've been really bad this month with my blogging. It's one of those months, but I think I'll have more time soon to keep up with my weekly features and then get my butt back in track with my author spotlights. I thought I posted my Deb Caletti post, but apparently it's lost. So I'll push her month to June and hopefully I'll have a mini Q&A to add to it.

crossing my fingers that I can spend more time on my blog...*sigh*

HAPPY readings!!!

Thursday Cover Throwdown (05/06/10)

I'm sure that I've seen something like this on other blogs (so if you can direct me to the one that is hosting it, I would be really happy). But anyways Thursdays will be the day that I compare book covers for one book and we decide which ones we like best.

Here we go...

The Queen of Everything vs. http://images.barnesandnoble.com/images/56720000/56720550.JPG

I prefer the one on the left and it's also the one that I own. It's the black and white photo that I like and the polk-a-dots.

What about you...which one do you like???
