Author Spotlight: Rachel Cohn

This is month two for my author spotlight and I will be featuring Rachel Cohn.

I picked up and read Gingerbread (I had to request it at B&N) while I was back home in San Diego. I read it quite quickly, despite the fact that I was helping out my brother & his wife prepare for their church wedding. I enjoyed the book and just knew I wanted to read more of Cohn's books.

Now, I dedicate September to enjoy a handful of them.

Here's a little about Rachel Cohn...
Rachel was born on December 14, 1968 in Silver Spring, Maryland and grew up in the DC area. At the age of seventeen, she went off to Barnard College and graduated with a B.A. in Political Science. She moved out to San Francisco and started working at a law firm. This is when Rachel started writing her stories. Now, she lives in Manhattan where she is on the search for a great cup of cappuccino.

  1. I've only read Gingerbread by Rachel Cohn, despite owning Shrimp. Gingerbread was great, definitely agree with you on that. Nick And Norah's Infinite Playlist was a great movie too, but then I'm in love with Micheal Cera. Have you seen the film?

Can't wait to read all of your Rachel Cohn reviews :-)

  2. Hey April...I haven't seen N&NIP, but I did get it last weekend. I plan on watching it later this month (luckily this will fit in with one the challenges at GR) after reading the book. And I too love Michael Cera...I'm going to watch Year One this weekend!!!
